Storms, rising temperatures, drought, fires and parasites threaten their survival.
By acting now, we can rise to the collective challenge of saving Mediterranean forests, whether around Marseille, Nice, Monaco, Cannes or the St Tropez peninsula.
The “eco forest” challenge is a fun team-building solution. It involves taking various useful actions depending on the needs of a forest area: clearing undergrowth and/or pruning and/or repairing paths and/or removing waste and/or replanting with plant species resistant to climate change.
A team-building solution that takes concrete action for sustainable development
Checked-in and supervised by one or more forestry technicians and qualified team-building leaders, your group is ready to immerse itself in a high-quality Mediterranean forest environment.
After a briefing on the objective to be achieved, safety and the rules of the game for this eco-responsible team building challenge, each team is invited to familiarise itself with its Ipad roadbook.
Initially, each team must be able to orientate itself correctly in order to reach the zones where it can collect geo-located virtual equipment of different types and values.
But be careful, you need to show team spirit and strategy to make the right choices in the shortest possible time!
We’ll tailor your eco-responsible team building challenge to suit the forest close to your group’s accommodation, whether it’s around Marseille, Nice, St Tropez, Cannes or Monaco.
Your eco-responsible team building challenge must also, and above all, take into account your requirements: group size, participants’ sporting ability and timing.
At the end of the first part of the team building challenge, each team presents the results of its research to the organisers in order to :
Find out where they stand in the standings and perhaps win the reward
Accept their next mission and collect the “real” equipment needed for the rest of the programme
Preserving the natural environment at the heart of this challenge
The second part of the team building programme is dedicated to action in favour of sustainable development.
Under the technical guidance of our forestry technicians and using appropriate tools, each team must work to ensure that the Mediterranean forest is ready to face the challenges of the 21st century.
Depending on the context, the location and the time available, here are the actions that can be carried out in whole or in part by each team: clearing undergrowth, pruning, repairing paths, collecting rubbish, reducing the carbon mass and replanting plant species resistant to climate change.
You’ll be amazed at how committed your teams are to this noble eco-responsible cause.
At the end of the programme, everyone will leave with a sense of pride and the conviction that they have given meaning to a team activity.
Finally, for the organiser, this team-building solution, which is accessible to as many people as possible, will have achieved the objective of strengthening ties while taking useful action in favour of sustainable development.
